Android's Market to be renamed Google Play



Android is one of the most successful OS on a mobile / tablet device there has ever been. Second only to Apple.

The company is owned by google and has decided a name change is in order for it's very well known extremely popular app shop - the Android Market, the move comes as Google reveal big plans for expanding Android's Phone and Tablet portfolio with nearly every major developer signing up to run there phones off of ther innovative smartphone operating system.

Google Play is a very fresh feeling App Store, there are set to be a lot of deals coming to the customers including some fantastic movies available to rent for pennies. There is also a very worthwhile sale going on currently as a way to bring people to the new store, with some excellent bargains to be had.
I personally have an Android Phone and have done since the very first - The Google G1, I have always found it very easy to navigate and it works so well, this new and improved version is everything you are used to be but very much improved, the boys and girls at Google have done a fantastic job with the change over that happened March 06 2012

Hopefully there will be many more improvements to come from Google and Apple will have to do some quick work if they don't want to be left behind, with so many manufacturers signing up to Google's Android OS are Apples days numbered as the top dog in the world? Time will tell....
